FUASK Management Pays Courtesy Visit to JAMB Registrar

The management team of the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia (FUASK), led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. William Barnabas Qurix, OFR, FNIA, paid a courtesy visit to the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Ishaq Olanrewaju Oloyede, at the Board’s headquarters on Tuesday, 19th August 2025.

During the visit, the FUASK Vice Chancellor highlighted the University’s remarkable progress since its establishment, noting that it has secured approval for 18 academic programmes, attracted over 4,000 applicants, and successfully screened more than 3,000 candidates for the 2024/2025 admission cycle.

In his response, Prof. Oloyede commended FUASK’s steady growth and reaffirmed JAMB’s commitment to supporting the institution. He assured that the Board would ensure timely admission processes, with special consideration for candidates with disabilities, in line with its inclusive education policy.

The JAMB Registrar further encouraged FUASK to broaden its outlook by attracting international students and ensuring they enjoy a rewarding academic experience.

The visit strengthened the collaborative ties between FUASK and JAMB, paving the way for a seamless admission process and the University’s continued growth.

The Vice Chancellor was accompanied by the Registrar, Prof. Adamu Sanusi Gambo, University Librarian, Prof. Daniel Abubakar, Bursar, Mal. Ibrahim Dalhat among others.
